Apologetics Without Apology: Presenting the exclusive message of the gospel in a pluralistic society

It happens all the time. You’re in a conversation with a colleague or fellow student, or maybe a lecturer or your superior, and you’re asked about your motives, your reasons for doing or not doing something. How do you respond? Our world wants to be tolerant. The Gospel is exclusive. Our world is pluralist. Jesus says “No one comes to the Father but by Me.” How does one defend the faith (apologetics) without comprising the faith (apologizing for it)? Let someone who does it for a living instruct you.

The Rev. J. Witteveen currently serves in Prince George, BC, as church planter and missionary for the Canadian Reformed Churches.
