You Will be my Witnesses: The Centrality of Christ in Missions

A single evening lecture by the Rev. Dr. A.J. de Visser.

Almost five hundred years after the beginning of the Reformation a lot of missions is being done around the world. Long term, short term, ecumenical, evangelical, you name it. There is some new terminology going around as well: missio Dei & missional church. It will be important for Reformed missions in the 21st century to remain theologically vigilant and hold on to the centrality of Christ in missions.

The Rev. Dr. A.J. deVisser currently serves as professor of diaconiology (practical theology) and missiology at the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary, Hamilton ON. In the past he has served as a Reformed missionary in South Africa.
